Peace at Forest Lawn

Forest Lawn is full of birdsong and peace. About 10 artists showed up despite the early morning June rain. The day turned brilliant and sunny, and about a zillion geese, ducks, and birds kept us company.

Martha Rogala

We  have  two new artists, Mary Margaret and Pat Arnold  in NFPAP. Another new artist, Bridget also came today.

Joan Shaw made a tree portrait study, beautiful!

Liz Spector, Anne and Julie DenBeste tackled a statue of a child, in the middle of the pond. They also carried on with their conversations!

Sunny Monday last minute paint out.

Painters in Studio 120 usually meet at The NACC on Mondays but the weather report was for sun and 80"s so Sunday it was decided to go to the Falls for an unplanned paint event.

Beautiful Riverside Park

Doreen's suggestion to paint at Riverside Park was excellent. None of us had been there to paint and there was much to see and choose from.

Liz chose th estone bridge in the distance with blooming iris in the foreground.

Kath used her Urban Sketchbook, Carl took pictures.

Anne and Julie went to the far side of the stone bridge.

Planning Meeting 2024

The NFPAP artists will meet at the WNY Visitor Center in Grand Island at 10:30 Wednesday March 6 to plan the year's paint events. Choose days and locations that are convenient and enter them into the calendar. Additional paint days will be scheduled as they become available throughout the year. It's time to think about new places, city or country, park or waterway to get the season going!
