Perfect day at Niagara Reservation

Three Sisters Islands at Niagara Falls remains one of NFPAP artists' favorite locations. Three bridges, slow medium and raging rapids, native species of animals and flora, easy parking all combine to make it a 'repeat' location. This day had no breeze nor mist, the sun was a bit hot but all the Painters found some shade. Who could ask for more from September?

On the third island we had watercolor and acrylics.
Our newest member challenged the rapids.

Diane kept cool with water color.
Rachelle captured the rocks with pastel.
Carol worked on the last bridge.
Joan was on the second island.

Kathy used oils for a closer view of the same scene.

Artists brave bad weather at Stegelmeier Park

Rachelle, Peggy, Jennifer and Sharon experienced a bit of summer cold, rain and wind, too. Not much was accomplished in this park. A beautiful day quickly turned into a storm and these brave ladies went home earlier than planned.
